Insure Equality is a non-profit dedicated to making insurance a more welcoming place. Our mission is to uplift the voices in our industry that are typically excluded or minimized. We created an award-winning culture rater that allows companies to understand how their culture feels. Additionally we host monthly webinars and events to talk about the issues facing workers in and out of insurance. We aim to remove barriers and create access so that communities are a part of the insurance conversation.

Board Member duties & responsibilities:
Our board is integral to our mission. They fundraise, meet in committees to help us plan and implement programming, and spread the word far and wide. Board members can expect to spend 8+ hours a month working on board-related activities. If they choose to be a part of Board Leadership, that commitment ramps up to about 12+ hours a month.
Board term & limits:
There are no limits to serving on the board, but we require a 2-year time commitment.
Financial commitment:
We have a give/get of $3500. This is not a financial requirement necessarily. We do ask that they commit either with their time or finances to this level.
