In Demand Entertainment (IDE) is a nonprofit community based organization founded in 2002 by Executive Director Solomon Arnold focused on serving the needed of the Black and Brown LGBTQ+ community. IDE’s mission is to bridge the gap between public health and social services organizations and in need, at risk, hard to reach, underserved populations to decrease health disparities with a central focus on HIV prevention, treatment, and advocacy in the Black LGBTQ+ community.

Board Member duties & responsibilities:
Beyond your standard expectations, Board members are required to minimally attend our monthly 2-hour online meetings, support and participate in at least 2 our annual events and as needed at least 4 of our community days associated with programming a year. There will be periodic retreats, trainings, and fundraising efforts required whether as separate or overlapping responsibilities.
Board term & limits:
2-years with no limits at this time.
