Chicago Artists Sharing Stories of Chicago Public Schools CPS Lives is a 501(c)3 non-profit residency that pairs Chicago artists, designers, thinkers, and makers with public schools. Our goal is to celebrate the strengths of public schools by telling their stories. Our residents collaborate with their partner school to capture each school’s unique history and present. We showcase these stories through exhibitions around the city as well as online. Our work makes accessible the rich legacy of public schools in Chicago and supports local creatives.
